Eoghan O'Flaherty

I'm Eoghan, originally from Dublin, Ireland but living in Amsterdam for a year and a half!

I study a Master in Urban and Regional Planning the University of Amsterdam, and I did my bachelors degree in Political Science and Geography at Trinity College Dublin.

I joined ASIF to do two things: Firstly, I wanted to learn more about venture capital, meet new people, make connections and learn. Secondly, I wanted to try and have an impact in entrepreneurship. There are so many entrepreneurs out there with world-changing ideas, and I think we should try and help them as much as possible.

I am an Events Manager at ASIF. I organise events like our P!tch Events, F*ck Up Nights and more. I really enjoy it, and have learned a lot.

To answer this question in a different way - in 5 years, I would see myself working in some sort of entrepreneurial venture, whether it's a VC firm, an accelerator, another ecosystem player or maybe even my own startup!
